For those seeking a very compact, single-chassis amplifier solution, the Wright Audio Lolita is the highest quality amplifier available. It accepts two sources of any type except Phono and utilizes only 5 tubes.

The Wright Audio Lolita Amplifier is a single-ended, triode-connected tube stereo integrated amplifier. Properly designed, amplifiers of this category are characterized by a more vivid, clear and harmonically-rich sound than the higher-powered 'push-pull' amplifier type.

However, the Lolita Amplifier provides wider frequency response and greater listening quality than other single-ended designs. This is due to a careful selection of parts chosen based on sound quality through extensive listening tests and with operating parameters chosen for lowest distortion. Like the more expensive Wright Audio amplifiers, a custom-made, matched-channel Alps conductive-plastic volume control, polypropylene and foil capacitors and transformers created for wide bandwidth and high resolution have been employed.

The tubes are 'self biased' and the amplifier requires no maintenance other than normal tube replacement.

Paired with a suitable higher efficiency speaker system, substitution of the Lolita Single-Ended Triode Integrated Amplifier into your music system will suddenly involve you more intimately with the music you love.

Approved Replacement Tube Sets

All tubes are tested and screened for both AC and DC parameters under identical electrical operating conditions as is used in the amplifier to ensure quality.

The Lolita requires that the 6N1P type be matched pairs supplied only by Wright Audio for equal channel balance and full sonic imaging.

It is recommended that the 6N1P and 5AR4 tubes be replaced half as frequently as the EL34 / KT77 type tubes. The EL34 / KT77 tube pair should be changed approximately every 1500 hours.

Use of Tubes Not Approved

Single-ended amplifiers require tubes of the highest quality for amplifier reliability. There are good-sounding tubes which may be used in push-pull amplifier designs but are not suitable for use in any single-ended amplifiers. Using them will cause the tubes to fail prematurely and possibly cause damage to the amplifier.

Wright Audio evaluates newly issued tubes frequently and will add those to the list which are approved when they are found.

Use only tubes recommended by Wright Audio. Evidence of the contrary causing damage to an amplifier is not covered by the Warranty.
