The Wright Audio Royale SE Tube Integrated Amplifier is an amplifier which makes listening to music fun again.

The design of the Royale SE embodies the high degree of flexibility and technical sophistication for which the Wright Audio products are known, yet combines these with extreme functional simplicity.

Besides accommodating six line sources of any type, each of these sources may be directed to either one of two recording devices. A separate 'Line Output' jack can be used to feed a line amplifier or transmitter for multi-room sound distribution from the selected source.

The amplifier also features a 4-position high pass rolloff switch for biamplification and a variable level preamplifier output control.

For vinyl LP playback, the Wright Audio PH-2 Phono Stage may be directly connected to the amplifier, without the use of the separate power supply.

The Royale SE is supplied with EL34B output tubes connected as triodes. The tubes are 'self biased' and the amplifier requires no operating adjustments.

Simply connect a pair of higher efficiency speakers (rated approximately 88 to 95 db / 1 watt / 1 meter) and a source and be prepared to rediscover your recordings!

* Six Inputs: CD, Tuner, Tape, Video, Spare 1, Spare 1. (Accommodates all standard line-level sources, including DVD, etc). For LP playback, the Royale SE accommodates the Wright Audio PH-2 Phono Stage without requiring the separate power supply.

Approved Replacement Tube Sets

All tubes are tested and screened for both AC and DC parameters under identical electrical operating conditions as is used in the amplifier to ensure quality.

The Royale SE requires that the 6N1P's, ECC81's and EL34 / KT77 types all be matched pairs selected by Wright Audio for equal channel balance and full sonic imaging.

It is recommended that the 6N1P and ECC81 tubes be replaced half as frequently as the EL34/ KT77 type tubes. The EL34 / KT77 quartet should be changed approximately every 1500 hours.

Use of Tubes Not Approved

Single-ended amplifiers require tubes of the highest quality for amplifier reliability. Sadly, there are good-sounding tubes which may be used in push-pull amplifier designs but are not suitable for use in any single-ended amplifiers. Using them will cause the tubes to fail prematurely and likely cause damage to the amplifier.

Use only tubes recommended by Wright Audio. Evidence of the contrary causing damage to an amplifier is not covered by the Warranty.
